This week Jeremy spotted an article in the newspaper for a farm not too far away that we could take the kids to and pick some fresh peaches. Of course, not wanting to turn down any adventure we figured why not take the kids and go pick some peaches. The peaches taste yummy and the kids had a lot of fun picking out the perfect peaches. Now we have 20 pounds of peaches to eat, anybody got any good peach recipes?
You could always peel and slice them, then add some sugar and a tad of lemon juice to keep them from browning...then put them in freezer bags and freeze them. Kinda like canning, but easier. Rhett's mom always does that for us with her peaches.
I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 12 years now and together we have the two greatest children in the whole world. T is 6 and is quite the little Diva already. Our son C is 4 and is the sweetest little guy ever.
